DFI  is one of the few general contractors in the United States that employs a full-time staff and owns their own equipment. DFI has an architectural/engineering division, project managers, project coordinators, in-house craftspeople, custom millwork shop, and an extensive equipment inventory - the necessary components to ensure reduced costs, fast track delivery, enhanced quality, reduced administration burden and a single point of responsibility for the entire project. Promise in Brevard, providing a much needed housing choice for cherished family members with special needs. Promise will have varying levels of support-based on individual needs. With a sense of independence long yearned for, Promise residents will have an inclusive, safe and fun place to live, among neighbors who care. DFI has been integrally involved since its inception and will be developing the 39 acre site, which will house 130 residents as well as stables and a riding arena for its therapeutic riding program, a full size gym where Special Olympics events can be hosted. Promise is also planning to develop a 9 acre "front porch" subdivision for townhomes where family members can reside close by. Expansion plans include many other programs and opportunities.
