DFI, a long-time builder in the east central Florida region with custom timber bridges nationwide, offers its customers a team of over 150 full-time employees to ensure consistent performance and sensitive customer service. In many communities around the nation, general contractors tend to broker the services and oversee the projects. DFI uses a unique business model that puts it firmly in control of its operations. DFI has a pool of tradesmen who are employed by the company, allowing DFI to limit subcontracting and save on middleman markup. The company also owns, maintains and operates millions of dollars worth of construction equipment from cranes to welding units.

DFI is a licensed general contractor. Our organization is both insured and bondable. From pre-construction through completion, we are putting our knowledge, relationships, experience and extensive resources to work on a variety of construction projects across the country. Site Development
DFI specializes in complete site development — transforming raw land into ready-to-build projects. Project Management

Structural Steel Fabrication
We custom design and fabricate structural steel components for a variety of applications, including commercial and industrial uses across industries with strict and precise specifications. DFI is experienced with American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) certification, the most recognized quality certification program in the industry that represents a total commitment to rigorous quality standards demanded by the marketplace, with an eye toward preventing errors rather than having to go back and later correct them.

Bridge Design & Construction
DFI constructs custom-designed timber bridges nationwide. We specialize in Department of Transportation (DOT) approved heavy highway and residential vehicular bridges, golf cart and light maintenance bridges, and pedestrian and walkway bridges. Our 300+ sustainable and resilient bridges can be found in golf courses, amusement parks and recreational parks, as well as on personal property, in more than 25 different states.
