Don Facciobene - President

Don received his BS in Business from the University of Florida in 1985 and passed the requirements for his general contractor’s license.  After spending two years working for various local contractors, he decided that he could better control the cost and quality of his product on his own and formed Don Facciobene, Inc. in 1987.  Don continues to oversee the schedule, safety and cost management of all projects.

Michael J. Karaffa, AIA - Principal Architect

Michael has over 30 years experience providing him with a solid background in programming and design of a variety of project types including educational, commercial, government, medical, hi-tech, and industrial facilities.  Michael is directly involved in each stage of the design/build process from the initial client meetings through the final inspections.

Dan Hughes – Vice President, DFI Bridge Corporation

Dan’s 20 years of heavy timber structure experience helps him coordinate the sales, construction and closeout phases of your heavy timber project. Our bridges and retaining walls grace the landscapes of over 175 golf courses around the country.

Cassie Wolfson – Project Manager / Estimator

Cassie has been with Don Facciobene, Inc. for over 10 years estimating and managing projects from $100,000 to $5,000,000. She works closely with the design staff on design/build projects for cost estimates and constructability reviews.

Gerry Carson – Project Manager / Estimator

Gerry is a licensed certified general contractor in the state of Florida and brings 20 years of experience to Don Facciobene, Inc. As an independent contractor he developed strong communication skills with subcontractors and customers.

Mike Vaeth – General Superintendent

Mike has 25 years experience in construction, and almost 10 years at Don Facciobene, Inc. He has developed the skills necessary to translate drawings and schedules into completed projects.

Mark Eddleman – Sr. Field Superintendent

Mark has 25 years in the construction industry and has spent the past 10 as field superintendent of 30+ carpenters, painters, drywallers, and ceiling hangers in occupied industrial spaces. He produces time and task schedules so his crews can meet and/or exceed the requirements of the project and the owner.
